Graduation- Third Batch GATE Vocational FAB School, Pokhara

GATE Vocational FAB School celebrate its Third Batch successful graduation on 17th January 2020. Unique in its own kind, young students who have been struggled their starting childhood in very difficult stage either by socially or economically are majorly selected beneficiary for the program. The shared dream of GATE College and Right for Children has really brought many success stories which not only changes the livelihood of respective student and their immediate family but also changed the prospect of society to accept them as an assets not liability. Mr. Khem Raj Lakai, Founder CEO of GATE reflects his vision 9 years back when initial concept of FAB School was brought and successfully today the Third Batch has graduated successfully. One must not loose the hope and dream, once you visioned to reach the destination you find the ways not excuses, Mr. Lakai said. Fourty-nine (49) students were enrolled a year ago with dedicated attitude who also performed their industrial training (OJT) in local market. Students were awarded with successful completion diploma certificate along with different awards together. Mr. Rajendra BK is appointed as Batch Ambassador award for outstanding performance in different arena during the course. Similarly, Ms. Purnima Tamang and Mr. Anil Magar won the title of Best Grooming awards. Mr. Wangchuk Gurung secured Most Disciplined awards where as Mr. Nirmal KC has nominated to be Best Industrial Performer amongst the group during Internship. 


Mr. Anil Poudel, CEO Right for Children shares his experience how combined investment in youth education could change the prospect of vocational education and skilled youth force production in hospitality industry. Connecting with GATE College, the value of education excellence has really upgraded as compared to earlier experience. Mr. Poudel further thanks the management of FAB school managed by GATE College for this outstanding result and wish together both of us can achieve most of the goals that we set for future.

GATE Vocational FAB School is dream project of GATE College and Right For Children which is considered as home of opportunities for most disadvantage youths of Nepal coming from Marginalized, Deprived and difficult family background who just need learning attitude rest assured by FAB School for training and development, job placement and shaping a quality of life afterward. FAB School now has F&B Service, Housekeeping, Front Office administration, Culinary, Bakery, Personality Development and Life Skill vocational programs which offered a world class experience but includes local elements. Future development of Spa Therapy and wellness, agricultural, horticulture, Laundry, Steward are very ambitious projects to be launch soon. Dual Apprenticeship with Teaching Hotel Social Business module is USP of FAB School.
