FAB’s directive has always been to teach in the most creative and effective way possible and all of our practical models are implemented accordingly. All of our various vocational courses are thought-out with the demands of the market in mind to ensure that our course remains relevant and intuitive. The learning hotel model works much in the same way as a learning hospital. The hotel bedrooms, kitchen, dining area/bar area provide the essentials needed to aptly simulate the environment our students will be working in. We often host events here that allow the students to demonstrate the same skills that they are able to practice here on a daily basis. In short, it is an essential aspect of FAB that gives our students practical experience before they have even had their first job in the hospitality industry. Namaste everyone!! I am Nabin Chamlagain from Belbari, Morang an Eastern part of Nepal. I grew up and spend most of my childhood in a typical village area with my family. Growing through village life, i was a kind of shy and silent type of person in general. I love cooking whenever I am free and also love to play football. I do help mom in the kitchen too. Accustomed to being around primary adults, I was always mature for my age. Even my own friends often annoyed me during my adolescent years. I did well in school, often knowing how to do complex math problems before the concept had even been introduced to our class.   Tashi Delek!! I am Wangchuck Gurung from  Lo Manthang , also known as Upper Mustang, a beautiful mystical village at 3,800 Meter above the sea level across the mountains. It’s my pleasure to share my wonderful experiences with GATE College relating my journey into the Vocational fields. I am from a middle class family and my parents mostly earn from livestock and farming.   Namaste, I am Teju Bhandari from Nepalgunj Banke, Nepal. My home town Nepalgunj is located at the southwestern part of Nepal. I have finished school from Shree Shining Star English Medium School with 72.63% on 2015 A.D, then I joined Hotel Management subject at high school from Adarsh secondary school in 2017 A.D. There were lots of options for further study but my family financial situation was not so strong. Waited for a long time for other options but failed, tried harder to get scholarships but unable to receive any. I was so worried and I thought it will better if I quit. Excellent college with dedicated and aspiring people in a  beautiful location at the corner of city in a walking distance. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff, our contact person Mr. Karki, and the enthusiastic students with openness, creativity and willingness to learn. At the first visit i was thrilled by the warm hospitality from the staffs and students. I am deeply touched with the innovative practises and the life enriching practical education that the school is offering. Initially planned for a single visit but couldn't stop myself from going there the second time. An example of a radical change in existing educational platforms. Away from city, Gate Vocational FAB School is relaxing. Invited as a guest speaker, I was introduced to a group of 20 students. Students there; were reverent, full of gentleness, interested and with learning attitude. The hospitality that GATE offered was over-whelming. Not only as a guest speaker but while visiting GATE as a normal guest, the hospitality is over-whelming. I think the students there are clearly reflecting what FAB is. As I flash back and think of GATE Vocational FAB school the thing that reminds me is the scenic beauty, peaceful weather and the warm hospitality offered by the students. Being invited as a YOGA instructor i feel very delighted that students participated so well in my yoga session 🧘‍♂️ and they continued thereafter. Inner wellbeing is very necessary in today's busy and stressful life which is possible only through yoga. Different seminars, workshops conducted by FAB school are beneficial for students in different phases of their life so students must consider themself lucky. Lastly I extremely thanks to the GATE team for warm hospitality and would love to visit soon if i get further opportunity.
